What is the difference between a line and a queue?

Again, it is a soft distinction, and in some contexts the terms are interchangeable. Waiting is waiting, and both terms have multiple meanings/usages.

The word queue is used, though to distinguish a certain kind of space where people wait their turn.

I was trying to think of a non-ride clear cut example of each that everyone would know and got stuck, because WDW has both queues and non-queue lines. Airports can have both lines and queues.

Ah, I'd say the Mexico ride in Epcot has a queue.
