What is the deal with Pop Daddy

To the OP, I know you are trying to get a serious answer...so please forgive us for our humerous responses...but you've gotta understand, when PopDaddy's name is mentioned, a huge smile comes to all of us. He's just that kind of person. So to answer your question (and I'll try to be serious), when he says "long post", its usually in jest. Ya, he's probably a little irritated with long responses, but then again, Jason doesn't really get irritated with anything. Take it with a grain of salt and go along with his type of humor. Believe me, its a great ride. :D

I'm definately crazy about him. Underneath all that long post grumbling he does, he's got a heart of gold.

Pop Daddy is unique...................hang around long enough & you'll get to know him like we all do:D

Rarely does Jason have more than a dozen words in a post.........lots of times you are lucky if there are even 6:rotfl:

I always know I'll smile or laugh when I read one of Pop Daddy's posts. He's a sweetheart. I'll never forget he PM'd me when I had to have my sweet fur baby put to sleep just before Christmas. I appreciated his kind words so much.

It's so interesting that this topic came up. I had often seen Pop Daddy's "long post" comments and, although it made me snicker, I thought perhaps someone just might not get it. And lo! I was right!

So I sat back and considered to myself, "Self, just how long is a long post? Is it by word count? Or perhaps it's when one tends to ramble and it covers too many topics? Or better yet, could it just be the fact that had we the time to read it, we would, but because at that moment, when we're really busy, we don't have the luxury to devote to really covering what the poster is saying. Or maybe I just don't care."

It's something to ponder if you ask me. So long post or not, I guess it's up to the poster's writing technique. Some folks are just not that "wordy" while others ramble on and on.

I guess I'm one of those ramblers that tend to write far more than necessary. Quite a few of you have seen my own posted thoughts. I freely admit I can write far more than what is actually needed to get my point across. And if I'm having a bad day, I'll just post a quick thought and move on. But most of my days ain't all that bad. In fact, I tend to go through life mildly amused at whatever is around me.

But bad day? Not often. BUT, if I do have a bad day, I'm one cranky SOB! Friends and coworkers alike just part like the Red Sea as I walk by, steam billowing out of my ears, as I mutter epithets and "hmmph" and sputter. And then my answers, whether online or in person, are pretty much just one word, monsyllabic grunts of "yeah" or "no."

Nevertheless, I digress. Pop Daddy and his long post.

There's a pun in there and I aint touchin' it!

All, "Oh no he DIDn't!"

Me, "Yep!" as a walk away, mildly amused.
