What is the Conciege service at DVC?

I hear conciege being used in the DVC messages. What is this service in DVC land? Which resorts have the service? How do I get the service? What does it mean in points? I have never noticed it on any point chart. Is that service in DVC land really only the floor level? Seriously guys... I know what conciege service is but not in DVC land.

The new Animal Kingdom Villas which will be opening Sep 1st, 2007, have four room classifications:

Value
Standard
Savanna
Concierge

It will be the first DVC resort to have Concierge rooms.

That's probably the buzz you've been hearing.

No other DVC resorts have Concierge.

Concierge service there is likely going to be like concierge in most normal hotels. It weil give you access to the food lounge day/night and acccess to the concierge for ressies, advice and the like.

They do have Concierge desks in the lobbies to help guests purchase tickets, make dining reservations, etc. But this is not the Concierge you hear of on some higher floors in deluxe resorts with continental breakfast, snacks throughout the day, etc. Currently, no DVC resorts have this type of Concierge. Some of the villas at AKV (located on the 5th and 6th floors of AKL) will have access to this type of concierge at AKL.
