What do they offer for breakfast? We are a family of 5 and eating breakfast at a restaurant on vacation can get quite costly...am wondering if it's worth the upgrade to club level.
What resort are you looking at? I have only stayed at RPR Club, but it was a nice continental breakfast -- plenty of fruit, pastries, bagels, toast, cereals, juices, tea, coffee, milk, yogurt. Can't speak for the other resorts.
Was just at HRH for 5 nights and the breakfast was the same everyday. Cereal, fruit, bagels, toast, doughnuts and pastries. It was enough to fill us up, we only ate one other meal a day. The 5-7 evenings were ok, most of the "hot" food was warm at best, and soggy. Drinks are the best thing.
As long as you don't want a sit down eggs and pancakes your fine.
And one more hint, if you need a tray, ask for it, they don't put them out.
We stayed in a deluxe room with a patio that overlooked the bacci ball court and pool. After arrival I asked about upgrading to club level but keeping our room, it was just what we wanted. They let us do it for $60 a night. It was well worth it for that price. Breakfast was great fresh fruit, bagels, patries, cereal, bagels, juice, milk, coffee and few other things. We ate there everyday and them would stop in several times for sodas and water bottles. Evening was beer and wine and nice cheeses and meats and crackers and bread. It was a great deal and am planning on going that direction again, when we go in June. But it will be at the RPR. I'm not sure if you want to chance it to ask after arrival with 5 people especially if they eat much. How much of a price difference is it for when you go? $100 for 5 is well worth it I think if you use it for other than just breakfast.
Good luck, YO
I agree with both Mickey Fan about the mango cream cheese and Sprunkn about not needing pancakes, etc. Our two teen boys were kept satisfied 3 years in a row with the RPR club offerings.......although the first year they kinda went overboard on how much soda they could fill up on! lol The offerings for breakfast were enough to get us all going in the morning without feeling too full to enjoy the rides. In the late afternoon we would come back to rejuvenate (Julys are really hot) and shower, change, etc. Having the afternoon offerings was enough to tide us over until a later evening dinner. Yes, I definitely think it's worth club level IF you have people in your party who seem like they're hungry all the time like my teens! The evening desserts were also good although we only got back in time for them a couple of times. Personally, I enjoyed having coffee available anytime I wanted a cup and also being able to grab a couple bottles of "free" water to take to the parks. Have fun!
