Do you mean non-stop to Boston? I know that you can get non-stops our of DCA which should be closer. Sorry, just noticed that you wanted AirTran only - Just forget I said anything.

BWI is an hour and a half away with no traffic - that pretty much means 10 pm-4am . The rest of the time I'd allow 2.5 hours +. You've got to go all the way around DC on the Beltway plus I-95 so lots of potential for traffic slowdowns.
