What is the Candlelight Processional and how do I add it to our Coral Reef res.

We are dining at The Coral Reef on Jan. 2. Will the CP be over by then. It sounds beautiful.

It ends 12/30. For any future trip, you can't add it to any existing dining reservation. You have to book a special Candlelight Processional package dining reservation.

If you don't realize it, you're not required to have the dining package to see the Candlelight Processional. What the dining package gets you is advance seating at the America Gardens Theater. If you don't mind waiting in line or watching from outside the theater (it's an open theater) you don't need the dining package. The length of the lines will probably depend on how popular the narrator is.

vicki c is correct as well, the dining package is a separate reservation and you must book it specifically. You can't add it to an existing regular reservation. When the dining package slots are sold out for each restaurant, that's it (unless you can snag a cancellation).

I'm so confused about this. TDC Nala, I appreciate your help on the other thread, but I still don't understand how this works. I want to eat at Le Cellier next December, and I want to see the CP. Shouldn't I go ahead and make a dining ressie 180 days out just in case Le Cellier isn't a restaurant on the CP package? (Then I can still eat at Le Cellier and wait in line for CP.) Then at 90 days out if it is available on the CP package, can I call and book the CP package and then cancel my existing ressie???

Yes, that is a plan if you want to do that. You just can't call up and change your existing reservation to a CP package reservation. There's no downside to doing what you wrote if you want to be assured of eating at Le Cellier. Worst case - you can't get a CP package @ Le Cellier, you could still eat there and just wait in the standby line for the CP.

Yes, that's exactly what you should do.
