what is the campfire program

Hi guys, I have never been to the Ft. Wilderness Resort, but I've heard from a lot of people that they have the campfire program. I just don't exactly know what it is. Can someone please help, also does this have anything to do with the movie night schedule??

The Campfire program is the nightly movie that is shown outside.
The children sit around a campfire before the movie and roast marshmallows and have a sing along. They also have a chance to meet Chip and Dale. The movie is shown every night, weather permitting.

The sing along with Chip and Dale starts at 8:00pm. It may begin earlier as the seasons change (I say this because for some reason I thought it started at 7pm when we went in October.) The movie begins at 8:40pm. It is a really good program for the kids (mine are 9, 5, 3 yo). They have wooden benches with backs to sit in or aluminum bleachers. You can take your own chairs, blankets to sit on. Don't forget your hotdogs and smores fixins!

Good morning!

You will love the campfire program at FW! The movie changes from day to day and you will find the movie schedule for that month posted right here on the Camping Forum. My daughter still loves to go to this, and she thinks there's nothing like watching a movie under the stars at night! You can take your own marshmallows, graham crackers, and hersheys or buy them at the campfire. They also have roasting sticks for sale. Make sure and bring your camera for some pictures of Chip and Dale!

How are the flys and mosquitos during the summer movies?
