What is the best way to get from AK to Boardwalk? We plan on eating at Big River Grille and Brewing Works. Thanks:confused:

Take the bus for the Boardwalk/Swan/Dolphin etc. from Animal Kingdom and get off at the Boardwalk Stop - depending on order of stopping it might make sense to get off at the Swan or Dolphin and then walk over to the Boardwalk

Enjoy

Take the bus.

this response was not rude. it was direct and to the point. my kind of answer actually. did not give out a bunch of information that wasnt needed. great answer. this forum would be easier to read if more people answered like you.

Agreed! If the OP wants a more detailed answer, then the OP should state that!

The response cited was not rude but it was not helpful either - these types of answers do not help out people on these boards much IMO

Cheers

There is only one bus route and it is the Boardwalk bus mentioned above.

Which is better?

1. "The Express Monorail is being renovated for your future enjoyment. In the meantime our ferry boat will bring you to the Magic Kingdom."

2. "This monorail is out of service. Please use the ferry boat."

OT: This one actually stumped people every so often on the Boston subway where they fed their money into the turnstiles next to an open gate, despite graffiti on the turnstiles telling them that they needed to pay on the train when no one was manning the change booth.

1. (their sign) Booth closed. Exact change needed when paying fare on train.

2. (I would have preferred) "Pay On Train" in big letters, "Exact fare required" in smaller letters.

Thank you jaysue. We will do that!

Let's see...both Bob P and jaysue gave you the same information. jaysue's was simply more informational. That does not make Bob P.'s answer rude.

I didn't think that post was rude, it was just to the point. :thumbsup2 (BTW, nowhere in the original question did it ask for a specific route :) )

Thanks to everyone for their input on my post! And for those who defended it, I appreciate your support. :)

To set the record straight, I sent a PM to the original poster apologizing if he/she found my post rude. It was in no way intended to be rude. There are a lot of people on the DIS boards who do not know very much about how to get from point A to point B on WDW property, and I was just assuming that the OP might be one of them. I thought my answer was concise, not rude.

Now I'd like to request that the moderators either lock this thread since the OP has an answer; or else maybe we can all let this thread die a natural death.
