I am planning a Disney trip for November. Should I do it all myself? Work with a travel agent? What are your thoughts? I want to make this birthday a magical one for myself. It will be 15 years ago this year that I tried to kill myself (on my birthday) and this year I want to celebrate!

Thanks!

I always book right through the Disney website. I know some people complain about their site, but I have never had any problems. I don't like going through travel agencies (they have to make money too, and I have heard too many horror stories about mistakes/lost reservations). Going through the Disney site you can review your reservations on line, and you can always call them to make changes if you wish. I have never had a problem doing it this way. Good luck!!

I booked through the Disney site as well in January, and have been very pleased! I paid online a little at a time with my debit card, called and added a day to my MYW tickets, then later decided to add another night's lodging. Never had a problem with the reps on the phone or paying online. The only thing that happened was I mistakenly switched my children's ages when I originally booked. I simply e-mailed them about the mistake, and it was fixed within 48 hours. :thumbsup2
