What is the best thing you've eaten at Disney World?

From one picky eater to another - I wasn't that impressed with Cali Grill, however my DW who is not a picky eater enjoyed it. I would go with either LeCellier or Narcossees.

Besides Le Celier, I'd say Yachtsman Steakhouse at Yacht and Beach Club has the best steak dinners.. I don't eat seafood, so you'd have to check their menu to see if they serve fish..:cool1:

Jiko
Maize-crusted Halibut with Tomato-Butter Sauce

Mamma Melrose
Shrimp Pipette - wood-grilled shrimp tossed with Pipette pasta with artichokes, peas, roasted red peppers in a basil and four cheese cream sauce

Wolfgang Puck Cafe
Macadamia Nut Crusted Breast of Chicken - Panko and macadamia nut crusted boneless breast of chicken, sho-yo cream sauce and garlic mashed potatoes

Le Cellier
Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon - with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce

And last but NOT least!

Narcoossee's
Almond-crusted Cheesecake - with lambert cherry sauce  Its just so good!

Although I didn't like the restaurant or service that much, the side of mac and cheese at Artist Point was fantastic. It was gourmet and more adult since it had all these different, not regular cheeses and wine and other ingredients that made the dish incredible.

One of my favorite meals is at Raglan Road.

It's Not Bleedin' Chowder - It is potatoes, mussels, prawns, scallops and fresh seafood infused with white wine and finished with cream $24
I ordered this the first time I went to RR and I order it every time. So good! Since I don't like muscles, my DM enjoys this dish as well. It taste so much better than it looks in the picture-seriously I could lick the bowl.:rotfl:

Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding - Like no other pudding you have ever tried. Believe us $8
My favorite dessert, hands down!:cloud9: The 2 sauces are TDF!

Only thing I don't like is their Irish Bread. Just not to my taste.:confused3

Haha! I wasn't even impressed with Cali's menu! So we switched to Narcossees!!

Great pictures, thank you! What is prawn though?

The absolute best meal I've had at Disney so far was at Flying Fish. My potato-wrapped snapper and DH's char-crusted NY strip were AMAZING!

I absolutely agree! My kids (10 yr olds at the time) still talk about the steak at the Flying Fish from last Dec. Just told them we are going back and the first thing they asked was if we were going to the Flying Fish.

Macadamia Pineapple pancakes from Kona Cafe:goodvibes

Even though there are so many great meals at so many restaurants all over the world, this has always been the one that I crave the most

Basically anything at Boma..Everything is to die for..

However if you want to get technical, the steak from the flying fish is unbeatable!

Also, I can't resist a good Mickey Premium Bar (;

Prawns are essentially what you guys call "Shrimp"

here in UK, shrimp are tiny tiny little things, and the large ones are prawns. (I am sure there are more subtle differences, but to all intents and purposes when I have ordered "shrimp" in USA, I ahve always got something that I would consider to be prawns)

hth

The desserts at Beaches and Cream! But split them, they are large! The salmon at Artist's Point is great! The Boma breakfast is surprisingly good.

Filet Mignon but subbed the risotto for the mashed potatoes!!!
Cheddar Cheese Soup w/ the wonderful pretzel bread!
Chocolate "Moose"
All from Le Cellier

I am going to eat as much as I possibly can in Aug while there since they are now changing it to a 2TS meal in March 2011

I've eaten some mighty fine food at WDW but the best, hands down, thing I've eaten at WDW is the Banana's Foster bread pudding at Ohana. I'm not into desserts that much and I especially don't like bread pudding but this is so good, I can't wait to eat it again. Does anyone know if you can get seconds on that?
