What is the best signature dining location (that is worth using 2 TS credits). I wanted to do one nice meal on our next trip, but can not decide where. We are not into the real frufru stuff, but enjoy a nice dining experience. I am kind of leaning towards Cali Grill or Narcoossee's. Please share your experiences so I can decide.

Thanks!!

Artist Point at WL is overlooked alot. The food is great as well as the service. And it is one of the quietest Signature places. I think they all have their fans & are all quite good.

I would definately have to say the Yachtsman Steakhouse. That was the best dinner i have ever had!!!

If you want a great dining experience with great steaks, fish and chicken, salt crusted baked potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and great bread - GOD I'm getting hungry - then the Yachtsman is a great place to go and I would definitely spend the 2 points per person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:wizard:

Artist Point by a mile. Consistently the best food and service by a mile.

Better than the Ca Grill?..I have this booked for the 3rd time this trip because I adore it

Definitely better than California Grill. I'd put Artist Point first, Jiko second, Citrios third, and California Grill fourth.

I'd say Artist Point and Jiko are a tie for my top choice. (Maybe logistics could decide between the two). California Grill would be my next choice...the view was nice, but the food at AP and Jiko was much better, IMO.

I would say Cali Gril... The food is spectacular and the view amazing...

I haven't been to all of them but I can tell you that Artist Point and Citricos are OUTSTANDING. The food, to me, is equally good at both of them, it just becomes a matter of what type of food you enjoy over another type.

I agree with Jiko and Artist Point, our two favorites. Both restaurants are very good. IMO, California Grill is a bit too hectic and noisy.

California Grill is absolutely louder than AP or Jiko.

However...

The food quality at Jiko & AP is just not there. Artist Point has a delicious portabello mushroom soup, but everything else we've ever eaten there was just so-so. And we've tried it many times, with a wide variety of dishes.

Jiko isn't even in the same class. This is a place where, at one of their signature wine dinners, they served BACON and a chicken-stock based soup to us, after we had explicitly spoken with them about our dietary preferences and had informed them that we eat no meat and had been assured that they could and would accommodate us. That inattention is sloppy and what I would be irritated at in a TGI Friday's, much less a signature restaurant. The foods that we've eaten there have been fine, but nothing outstanding.

It's really the sushi at CA Grill that sets it apart. If you are a sushi fan, you will be delighted at this restaurant. Admittedly, the signature restaurants continue to cut back on the quality & standardize the menus, but, at least as of August, CA Grill was still the top signature restaurant.

Yachtsman doesn't have the quality that it used to have. It's sloppily run, and offered us very low quality ingredients. Blech...

I would recommend CA Grill; we have 2 reservations there for our next on-property stay, since we were so disappointed with the other signature restaurants we dined at this January & March.

Cheers!

How would you compare this to Citricos? Have you been? I was there last week and thought it was top notch. Two years ago, when I went, I couldn't decide which one I liked better: Citricos or Artist Point but I had to give the slight edge to Citricos. This year, it seemed even better. The service and the food were top notch. I have not been to Cali Grill yet so I cannot say that one is better over the other. My parents have done both Cali Grill and Citricos and they prefer Citricos. Just curious what you thought.

Different strokes for different folks.. I would put Citrico's first, then Artist Pointe, and then Bistro de Paris, Yachtsman would not get on my list..

For us Jiko is first by a long way. We love Jiko. We think the menu is one of the best in WDW. Second would be Artist Point and then a tie between Bistro de Paris and Yachsman.

Jiko, Citrico's and Artist Point are my current top three, although Yachtsman Steakhouse and Flying Fish are also very good.

I agree that if you're aiming for sushi, California Grill is the best of the bunch. Other than that, both in terms of food and service, Artist Point and Jiko are superior.
