Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Anyone have a problem with LLMP where you have a time booked, let's say 9:35, and when you refresh it shows there is a 9:15 option, but no matter what you can never select that option? Initially I assumed people are just getting it before me but it has been showing this 9:15 option to me for hours now and when I click it I always end up being told "Please note your arrival window has changed" and it pushes me all the way out to 1PM.

Just FYI, I currently have these time slots booked:

9:35 - 10:30 MFSR
12:00 - 1:00 TOT
3:10 - 4:10 TSM

I'm just trying to pull MFSR up to 9:15. It's like the system is showing 9:15 is an available time but it's not actually an available time.

Hi all, I was hoping to double check my LL plans. We have a date based ticket with park hopper, so no theme park reservation. My plan was to book LLMP at Epcot for times around 11am-2pm. Then start the day at Animal Kingdom then hop to Epcot around 11. The 2pm restriction mentioned on the previous page only applies to tickets that need reservations, right?

Yes your plan is quite sound. Your tickets don't require a park reservation, any you are able to make your LLMP purchases for Epcot.

Are you staying on-site or off site, and do you know exactly which you are able to make your LLMP purchases and starting at 7 AM ET.

Dave,
Thanks for the confirmation. We are "on site" (Shades of Green) and I have sorted out what my booking day is (7+1).

To confirm - I'm both purchasing multi pass AND booking LLs at 7 am on my determined date? (just want to be sure I can't pre-buy multi pass).

If anyone has time to take a look at my plan - 4 park day and will be starting at MK on a 7:30 am early entry day and will be purchasing TRON and rope dropping Seven Dwarves and then line up for Peter Pan.

Our only high wish list ride is Slinky Dog and we will be ending at HS.

At MK we would like to ride Tiana, HM and Pirates

Thinking:
Philharmagic throwaway LL - as early as possible and then try for Slinky...(not sold on this strategy)
Tiana as early as possible (just not sure we want to get wet)
Pirates or HM

The more I research and learn, the more I get confused and can't decide.

Same day Slinky is really hard to get. Right now on Thrill data Slinky it's sold out until 10/14. I have done the throwaway strategy and have been successful but the parks weren't super crowded. I'd chose Monster's Laughfloor for a throwaway instead because it's closer to the park entry if I was going to do this. Every second counts. :rotfl:

No pre-buy of just the LLMP. You pick up to 3 attractions, and purchase all in 1 transaction. When is your determined date, and what type of ticket?

On-site you can purchase & book 7 days before your resort arrival day, off-site 3 days before your park visit.

For Early Entry you need to be on-site guests, Seven Dwarfs and Peter Pan are part of EE so easy to do.

Your are not likely to get Slinky same day right after a 9 AM at Mickey's Philharmonic. Slinky additional LLMP drops are in the afternoon starting at 1:17 PM. HM has a slower queue than Pirates so I would go with HM as a LLMP selection.

Thanks for this and the heads up about the slinky afternoon drops!

Staying on site and we have comp tickets so we have a park reservation at MK.

Park officially opens at 8 am, with EE at 7:30 am (would that make any difference to try for Slinky? If not Slinky we'd try for Frozen)

the problem with getting same day Slinky is no one is really dropping it because they know how hard it is to get.

If I was going to do a throwaway I wouldn't actually ride the ride or see the show. I just click in and immediately change it for a tier 1 somewhere. I look for the earliest tier 2 I can book and that I can get to the fastest.

Nope it will not help for Slinky availability but you already know about additional afternoon drops.

For Frozen you also have an issue with how popular it is, same day LLMP times do open up the other guests let go but often are gone quickly as guests adjust their plans, and there are no additional drops of LLMP times for Frozen.

Apologies if this has been covered, but I'm returning to Disney after a six year absence. Can I buy a single pass in one park and the multi pass for another park on the same day? I have park hoppers.

ok great. i'm planning for that to be philharmagic and hopefully rope drop seven dwarves, maybe ride peter pan, and then hopefully have an 8 am philharmagic that i can scan in and then find something to change it to.

@wdwfan94 covered the basis answer of Yes. Just to further add LLSP is not tied to your LLMP park purchase selection in any way, and since you have park hoppers you are allowed to book up to (2) LLSP per day an any of the (4) parks.

I want to try and purchase a single pass for Flight of Passage with a morning time. I will be able to buy the pass on Oct 13th for a park day on Oct 24th. Do you think that a morning time will be available?

You should have your pick of any time.

It should be available for purchase on the 14th without any problem but your Return window on the 24th is likely to be after 12 PM based on the Thrill Data.

You can check this link now to view the information on FoP, and again on the night of the 13th to see the pattern:
