What is the best scholarship serch site?

My daughter and her friend have been searching for scholarship information. They have (and I have) asked the guidance counselor at school for help but she doesn't seem to have much information for them.

There are several web-sites that claim to be scholarship search engines. Does anyone have any experience with using them?

What is the best way to search for scholarships? Both kids have good grades (4.0 and 3.9 - 4.0 is the best they can have here) and have performed community service.

You should never have to pay for financial aid/scholarship information. Stay away from any site that charges.

I posted about this a few days ago and got several suggestions for http://www.schoolsoup.com/ . I went on there and it was easy to use (and free). I am going to look at the fastweb one too.

Scholarships.com is another one. And ask the admissions counselors at the schools you're interested in -- at one of the schools my son is applying to, they provided us with their website info where they list tons of scholarships available (and not just to students attending that school).
