I am trying to plan our meals for our Oct. trip. Where is the best place for a good steak dinner? if possible a place that also offers good seafood dishes!

We did 11 nights of DxDDP last year and ate steak at almost every restaurant in WDW. The best we had was at CG. Loved it so much we booked an ADR for our first night, only 3 weeks to go

Sorry yes it is. The view is terrific too. A nice treat, DD had steak too off the kid`s menu and she loved the rice crispy sushi dessert :worship::worship:

Yes Shula's is awesome but we have one here in Naples where we are from! So we want to try something that we don't have.
Well then you don't really want the best steak at WDW but rather the second best.;)

For a real good steak and really good seafood I'd say Flying Fish, but the only steak they have is a ny strip with sauce foyot (very good, indeed). Otherwise you can get a great filet mignon at any signature or you could try Yachtsmans for a good but less than Shula quality steak at an equal to Shula's price.

Shula's is above average, no more. They charge prime beef prices while providing choice beef.

While I like Yachtman's and the California Grill, the best steak I've actually on the WDW property is at the Flying Fish. Narcoossee's was also pretty good, but if I really wanted a great steak I'd go off property.

1) In that case, Yachtman's Steakhouse.
2) Cali Grill and Le Cellier are overrated.

California Grill is not overrated on the quality of their steak, they get dinged on service and atmosphere. It can be a zoo, but the steaks are good.

I do like Le Cellier and their steaks, their Grilled Bone in Rib Eye is good, but there are better.

Yachtsmen's Steakhouse is definitely my favorite steak place, but since the original poster asked for a great steak place that also has great seafood, I'm going to recommend Narcoossee's. Their NY strip and their filet are delicious, and their seafood dishes are awesome. We just ate there on Monday night and I had the surf and turf (filet and lobster tail)...SO GOOD.

Jiko used to have the best filet with mac & cheese... yum so good .. but I vote for CG or Citricos.

CG gets dinged "on service and atmosphere"? Seriously? I must patronize the other California Grill then! But I can say that of the entire menu at CG steak is one of the last things I would order there.

Re: LC, I like it too. It's a nice alternative to Outback.

The problem with places other than Shula's and YSH is that they usually have but one cut of steak. Go to FF and want a filet--you're out of luck. Or go to California Grill and want a rib-eye--out of luck again.

And so on--

By far the best steak I have had at WDW was at Shula's, but the second best was at Fulton's, so there's a good seafood connection.

Narcoossee's is good and Yachtsman Steakhouse can be good, if inconsistent. The worst I've had in 25 years was at Hollywood Brown Derby just last month. Out of six of us, three filets were inedible, even after being sent back. It's been quite a few years, but I can remember having a really good steak at the Concourse Grill.

I'm gonna have to go with Yachtsman. It's very pretty inside, great service staff and it's a very different experience than say, Le Cellier. Less chaotic. Food is very good.

It's all overpriced. Think of the nicest steakhouse in your town, then add 30% :lmao:

Shula's is just a steakhouse, not really themed past the sports stuff.

I love the theming inside Le Cellier, but prefer the beachclub atmosphere at Yachtsman.

Teppan Edo if you want steak and seafood.
Your food will be cooked right at your table to your specifications!
