I am trying to decide how much money to budget for food, mainly breakfast. We got the MYW dining plan, so all major meals are covered with the exception of breakfast. We are staying at Pop, and plan to eat from the counter service restaurant there. Any idea how much for an average breakfast? Thanks!!

My husband and I stay at Pop. We eat breakfast there each morning. We each have a bagel, a bottle of juice, and a banana or fruit cup. It is $16. :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I've been eating breakfast at the Food & Fun Center at the CR and a coffee, bagel, bacon, egg & cheese croissant and water is about $14.

We usually bring our own breakfast down with us so if you are into doing that it will save you quite a bit of money & time since you can eat it in your room & not have to wait to pay, etc...

Thanks for the tips! We did consider bringing breakfast items and eating in the room, but we are flying down, and figuring out how to get the stuff down there with us just became too much to deal with. Our best options seemed to be either to ship everything down ahead of time or to go through wegoshop. I didn't see where either would save us much money in the long run and less hassle not to have to deal with figuring out a way to get the food there. Thanks again!

DH and I usually grab a couple bagels, a fruit and two drinks. It's usually $15 or less.

However, when we go next time, I'm bringing my own bagels and some fruit b/c their bagels aren't that great :crazy2: and I can get bananas for $.49/lb here and not $2 each.

We do breakfast in the room more as a time saver than a money saver. It's really worth it to us!
