What is the atmosphere at Narcoosses ?

We have a reservation there for the first night we arrive. January 18. We have a 2 year old and a one year old. Who are very good but still debating on changing the ADR. We also have ADR at Jiko's and not sure how family friendly it is. Do not want to bother others!!:confused3

IMO, Jiko is not very family friendly. In the half dozen times or so that I have eaten here, I have rarely seen any children and those who have been here are exceptionally well behaved. This is a wonderful dark, quiet restaurant with a gorgeous wine room, they are known for their huge selection of African wines. I am sorry to say that for our January trip we are NOT going here as we will have a 3 year old in our party. Our last meal here was over 2 hours.

We just ate at Narcoossee's last week. Our party went in slacks and skirts. The place was half empty and I didn't think our meal was worth the $. It was good, it's just pricey. The deserts were yummy. I didn't see any kids when we were there. I saw all kinds of clothing but more on the upity side.

HTH :)

I also heard you can go out on the deck area and watch Wishes from there after your dinner if you time it right.
Yes you can, that's what I did. I finished eating about five minutes before, and went outside and had a great view of the fireworks, just as good as the view from CA Grill, (just not high,) and not nearly as crowded.
