just curious. never use room service but am planning too as no one else ever wants to and this trip is about me! i know that there is a $3 hotel fee and 20% service charge automatically added.

what kind of tip do you guys give? 15%, 20%?

do they let you add to check like restaurants do or do you use cash?

depending on what we order is how we guage the "tip". With all the service fees and taxes its already added on so we give another $8-10. I do like to order room service at least once for breakfast.

I have been told by many service people that the 20% Service Charge is the tip. There is no need to tip on top of that unless you feel a larger tip is warranted (just told that last week at HRH)

that is also what i was questioning. i wasn't sure as most places say "gratuities added" not service charge.
