What is the answer--AP renewal

Thanks to info from the DIS, I called yesterday to renew our APs before the price went up. I was really excited about the 3 month extension i.e. 15 month AP. I called the number that we got on our renewal notice... asked about DVC discount & 3 month extension. Initially got resistance on the DVC discount, tried to send me to DVC. I insisted that I got my pass thru them & told her about renewal letter. Not surprisingly, she "found" us in the computer. I asked about 15 mo. AP. Had to ask a supervisor, who told us that 3 mo extension only came with new prices.
We didn't renew at old price because the 3 mos are important to our future plans. Why do I have a nagging feeling that when I call, they will say that 3 mos. does not apply when DVC discount. Then I have to declare WWIII on the phone, they will apologize for any inconvenience & will have a 12 mo. AP at the higher price. Sorry I seem so negative, but special deals rarely, if ever, work to my benefit & I don't just mean w/ Disney.
Here's hoping for a happy post later. We are leaving for OKW on Fri. & I hate to leave w/ a bad taste in my mouth.

The 3 month extension is NOT just for new passes, it is for renewals. too.

You should have purchased the renewal vouchers yesterday to save the $ before the price increase and then turned them in to renew your passes on Friday to get the additional 3 months.

The 3 month extension is only for renewals, per the link above. But still no official word on DVC.
