What is the 70's party?

Can you tell me more about the 70's party? What night is it on the 3 day Wonder? What club is it in? Since we have late dinner seating, will we miss it?

This was so much fun! The CMs all dress in 70's style clothes and the music is from the 70s. They pick people from the dance floor to dress up as some famous 70s people. They have 3 women compete to be Gloria Gaynor -they lipsync "I will survive". They have 3 men who act as judges, then those judges compete for the best John Travolta imitation. It's funny to watch. Finally there's a visit from the Village People ---all DCL guests. My DD (adult) won the Gloria Gaynor contest and she gave me her prizes. A neat olympic style gold metal, a DCL mug, a pin that's very collectible and a pen. Of course I'm already trying to talk her into trying again on our May cruise! LOL. This is of course "adults only ". I think it may be 1st night on 3 night cruise. You'll see it listed in your navigator. Have fun!!

It is the first night on the three day Wonder and it's one of the events we NEVER miss!!! The only sad thing is that my kneecap popped off while at the 70s party on the Magic a little over a year ago, so now I have to wear a clunky brace when I dance...no more wild groovin' for me! But I would still never miss it...it's a blast.
