What is the funniest thing that you have found in your child's pocket?

My DS usually comes home from school with sand, rocks or broke crayons in his pockest.

This past Sunday, my nephew (6) was in church. My sister looked over at him and saw that something didn't looked just right. Trying to be as quiet as she could, she was asking him to take out whatever was in his pocket. It was a frog (alive) LOL! :rotfl: She almost died. An older boy sitting beside them, took it outside for her. Kids, they are so darn cute!

I haven't found anything too weird in my kids' pockets, usually only rocks.

But when I was in Jr. high we had a plastics station in shop class so I made one of those coin purses that is shaped like a football with the slit up the middle.

Well my 47 year old mother was apparently VERY sheltered because she was doing the laundry, found it in my pocket, and went screaming around the house that I had a condom. My sister and I about DIED laughing.

We have had frogs and toads when the kids were little. Particularly DS#3. He loved them.

A piece of broccoli and his vitamin when DS was about 6. He liked them both, but just didn't want to have them at dinner. Because the water in the broccoli made the pill dissolve somewhat, it was pretty nasty.

One time at daycare, he emptied both pockets full of stones from the playground onto a table -- he enjoyed the playground and wanted to bring it inside.

I have a little day care guy who likes to bring his "toys" to day care. I have him empty his pockets regularly because you can find anything in there (and a lot of it is inappropriate for a day care setting. My favorite was the day his jeans pocket was bulging with:
4 screws
1 D battery
2 AAA batteries
2 quarters
3 pennies
1 dime
a piece of plastic I couldn't identify
one mini pocket knife
a small flashlight
a medicine dispenser
three dirty bandaids
I was expecting the "partridge in a pear tree" next... :rotfl2:

(I jot down some of the funny stories and events so I had this in my file.)

Thank heavens he has never brought in anything alive (or formerly alive). Ooh, GROSS!!!

:rotfl:a frog how funny.
Actually they don't put much in their pockets.

WOW, that's alot of stuff. Was he wearing cargo pants LOL? So, funny!

Shark's teeth.

They're in a lot of the playground sand around here (dredge from the channels) and the kids collect them. I don't usually realize it till I hear them going around in the dryer.

my mother was definately not amused, everyone else thought it was hysterical. She found a pair of my brother's jeans on the back porch and picked them up to put them in the laundry. She started screaming when the jeans started moving! Seems he'd picked up a garter snake and didn't have anything to put it in. Being a resourceful 5 yr old, he stuck it in his pocket, took off the jeans, folded them up neatly, and went inside to get a jar. While he was running around inside in his underwear, Mama found the jeans outside. She made that brother empty his pockets outside every night for weeks after that.

The weirdest thing I ever found in a pocket was spaghetti and a gerbil. :lmao:
