Drove past it today...and I can't figure out what that big tower is. Is it part of Cabana Bay? Is it new? Was it even there before. The whole area is so confusing, and I have been going down there every year for awhile. Can't figure it out?

There are 2 of them

they're both additions to Cabana Bay Beach Resort, and will house the new 2 bedroom suites.
They're still under construction

There is also a third tower construction across the road, and that will be the new Aventura Hotel, the newest addition to UOR

The whole area is a cluster with the I4 construction, kirkman exit etc...

I think the biggest flaw with CBBR is that they overbuilt it and now these two towers just adds to the mess.

To me, a single hotel shouldn't surpass more than 1,500 rooms if it can be helped.

The proposed new resort, on the old wet n wild grounds,is 4000 rooms.

Have you ever been to Las Vegas? You can do very large hotels and do it very well. Cabana Bay does not feel crowded at all to me when I go there. Never felt that it was an overbuilt mess or that the area was claustrophobic. The actual hotel itself doesn't cause much congestion there. The main culprits are the construction for the interstate ramps, new entrance tunnel for Volcano Bay, and Adventura. Most of the headache there is I-4 itself with it's endless work and traffic. Once you it the exit ramp there, everything runs smoothly.

Yep, Vegas seems to manage very well!!

Cabana Bay isn't exactly massive.

We said the same last year, the hotel construction around that area isn't causing issues, the I4 and surrounding area works are a real mess and causing no end of discomfort for locals and tourists alike.

I've been to Cabana Bay a number of times. I don't think this hotel is overbuilt. It is very popular and those rooms will absolutely be filled.

I can't wait until the expansion is done. I can't wait for the videos and pictures from guests who stay in these new rooms
