Yes, it's your right not to vote. It's likely for the best regardless of what your husband does for a living or how old you are.
I will pray for you - bless your heart

Well, the bait is there.
And it was grabbed hook, line and sinker.
Still doesn't make it any less ugly.
Always GDD to the rescue to let us all know how to behave. lol

Wait, what exactly did I say to make you snarky? I said it was your right not to vote regardless of your husband's job or your age?
You said “it’s likely for the best” that she doesn’t vote, the implication being that she’s not bright enough. At least that’s how it came across to me.
Huh?
Goofy Disney Dad.
I have never voted. I don’t feel it’s my place. My husband is the head of our household and yes we talk about it somewhat, but he is the only voter.

Heck I from the NorthEast and know that is a nasty comment. Not very religious like you claim to be.
HUH WHAT?!?!? You can't be serious, you so subjugate yourself you don't vote.
Never been water skiing or downhill snow skiing. I have also never been to Disney World.
I like the snow, but I am just not coordinated enough for skiing. I went cross country skiing and it did not end well. I fell so many times, it was embarrassing. I hate beaches, lakes, and any type of water that is not a swimming pool. Water skiing is not in my future.I've tried water skiing and it didn't end well for me. I hate snow and cold weather so I've never been snow skiing either. Disney World I've done a time to two as well.
The Bible doesn't say it, doesn't directly talk about politics much at all really as it would apply to our modern context, and in fairness, @verleniahall never said it did. It certainly does refer to a husband as the head of a household, and I guess that plays out differently for every couple that holds to it.I had no idea that women were not allowed to vote based on the bible. Then again I've never read the bible so I'll have to take your word for it.
I do agree that not everyone should vote just because they are 18 and over. If you don't have a clue about whom you are voting for it's best to stay home. I know too many people who vote a certain way either because it was directed by someone else or only based on party lines. If you are too ignorant, sheltered or oppressed to form your own opinion please refrain from voting.
