What is Santa bringing your 5 year old son?

This is inspired by the 6/7 year old girl thread....but what is your ds asking for this Christmas? My baby is 5 and although I have a few ideas for him, I thought I'd see what everyone else was planning! He is the last of three boys, so we have a lot of the classic toys (legos, blocks, cars, trucks,etc)

I know he wants the Imaginext big foot, along with screacher the dinosaur. He also wants Kirby Yarn for the wii. But after that, I have no idea! I am thinking of the Playmobil Zoo set. Love the african safari set....ds loved the safari ride in Animal Kingdom this past August! Also maybe the playmobil coast guard boat. He loves the superheroes figures, but I haven't seen many of those in the stores lately.

Any ideas?

I can answer this thread as well! My DS will be 5 in March. He's getting lots of Dinosaur Train stuff, including the train and three interactive dinos. I know they don't get the best reviews, but he loves that show. Also, he's getting a Big Belly Bank Dinosaur. It eats the money and it drops into the tummy. Plus, a dino matching game (see a trend?) and stocking stuffers (Click Start game, tiny games, Littlest Pet Shop, and other odds and ends).

Thinking about the PlayMobil Zoo for his b-day (saw it at Costco) or a big Lego set. He also seemed to like some Cruncher dinosaur... I have a $20 coupon to Target for that, so maybe if it goes super cheap.

My DS5 has asked for Screature for the past 3 years. I think I may get since he is still asking for it. He got Bigfoot for his Bday last week and he loves it. He also is asking for the Imaginext Batman stuff. He also loves Bionicles. He can put them together by himself following the directions. He also has asked for the Kirby Wii game. He has been playing my older DS gameboy advance Kirby game and loves it.

My DS is 6 so I thought I'd chime in. We're not getting many toys for him this year. So far Mighty Beanz and a Pillow Pet are the only toys I've gotten him. He doesn't play with toys very much so I'm not buying many more, his room has gotten out of hand with stuff just gathering dust. Instead he's getting things to expend some energy that I know he will play with: a new bike, a basketball, and gymnastics lessons. I'd also considered a personal trampoline, but his bike broke so that's on the list instead.

My nephew is 6 and we did all toy story 3. He is huge into it, so we got him a sweatsuit, polo shirts and 4 tshirts, 2 complete figurine sets, dvd, and 5 larger action figures. So he should be well off with the toy story 3 for christmas!!

Ben is 6, turning 7 in June so figured I'd chime in as well. He's is getting a pillow pet, some Disney school supplies from Christmas tree shop for stocking(5 bucks for 3 notebooks, 3 rulers, 5 pens, and 4 erasers), new art supplies(5 bucks), paper airplane book(he is OBSESSED), Guess Who, Shrek 2 junior Monopoly(both from savers, look new 1.99/each) TS3 dvd, deck of cards(stocking), set of 4 transformers new in box bought used for 6, selling for 40 2 rc hotwheels cars found for 12 reg 24, and a couple of good quality toys from fat brain toys, haven't decided yet.

My son is 5 and he is getting a penguin Pillow pet (he oves club penguin), a Kodak waterproof video camera, and some club penguin puffles and penguins. That's as far as I have figured out! He will probably get some new WII and DS games!

My DS will be 5 in December. We're getting him tons of playmobil stuff and he's asking Santa for the Kung Zhu battle arena. That isn't something we'd normally buy him, but Santa is a bit more willing to bend the rules .

Ds5 is getting the Fisher Price Big Foot (so glad I found that code to use at Kohls!!), a pillow pet, and Toy Story 3 from Santa. His other gifts will consist of a DSI, and a bunch of Nightmare Before Christmas beanies/figure set (he loves that movie).

He loves his Imaginext toys, but I think we have all of the ones he is interested in.

Well my 5yr old doesn't really play with toys anymore. He loves Legos like his older brother. He got a free Trio car kit at TRU a couple months ago and really really loves it. So I got the Trio airplane tower and wizard's castle on clearance at Kmart last month. I think Santa will bring him the Trio Batcave and other Batman ones. Other than that and a guitar he hasn't asked for anything else. Last year all he wanted was a drum set, Santa brought him that and we got him a few Transformers, but they no longer get played with. I thought it would be easier not having to buy toys for the boys but it's actually harder, we don't know what to get them! ha ha ha I kind of miss running around to find all the Galactic heroes Star Wars guys they wanted and all the Transformers etc. He's really into art and music so maybe I can find some sort of art supply set or something too.

Wow, looks like all our 5 year olds are pretty much in agreement! Same things on our list...Batman Imaginext accessories to go with last year's Batcave, Batman Trio, legos, Kung Zhu, Mighty Beanz, & Super Mario Galaxy Wii. He loves his pillow pet so you will all score with those!

My DS has the turtle pillow pet and my DD has the unicorn and lady bug. Check Hallmark (if you ever get a coupon--I bought 2 with a 40% off and a 25% off coupon). Also, CVS had the lady bug--for $19.99, but it ended up being around $13 with the extra care bucks and CVS coupons. I heard Bed Bath and Beyond is a good place, too, if you have their coupons. I like them; they are soft to sleep on. But, three is enough (for now).
