What is PSP?

I hear these commercials for movies that are available on dvd and psp. I know I'm hopelessly unhip and uniformed but what is psp?

They are the new handheld Sony Playstation consoles.

Like Gameboys, but the Playstation version.

They play video games, mp3s, and many movies are being released in that version so they also become mini DVD-like players.

They are smaller, like the size of a minidisc.
