The search feature is down and I am not having any luck finding a previous thread with a list of items that is provided in the villas. We are staying at VGC in a 1 bedroom and a 2 dedicated 2 bedroom if that makes any difference!

Can someone point me to a thread or post a list. I am debating packing a few bath towels to have as extras. This is our first DVC stay so I am a bit of a noob.

TIA! :goodvibes

You will get a set of 8 (wash cloths, hair/small towel, bath towels, and 2 bathmats in the 2 bd and 4 in the 1 bd. If you need extra, you can call housekeeping and order some. They are supposed to charge for extra towels but they won't, even if you ask!

Or, this is what we do, I launder them while we're away so we have clean towels. You'll get one laundry detergent pack per villa, sometimes people get lucky and get 2, I bring some along! I'd rather not go home with dirty clothes!

P.S. If you drink coffee that isn't pre-filtered (above and beyond the couple of packs you'll get per villa), don't forget to bring some filters rather than having to buy a whole pack! Regular Mr. Coffee round/basket size!

As far as being a noobie, if you're going to eat/snack in your villa, I find it helpful to pack a few 1 gallon plastic bags with smaller bags and sheets of folded up foil inside. They fold up nice in a suitcase, rather than buying whole packs of those when you get here!

Have fun, enjoy your villas!
