My brother is taking his oldest daughter (she'll be 7, nearly 8) to WDW to do the "princess for a day", but I can't find any info about this and have no idea what it is. Any help? Thanks!

It's this weird remixy sounding uh uh do da huh huh sort of thing. It sounds like the poor little girl is trying to cough up a lung or something.

The only time I've heard of this is that episode of Full House. :confused3
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OP, you can tell your brother that there is no such thing as Princess for a Day. He is probably taking her to get her hair done at BBB. If the DIS don't know about it.....there is no such thing. :cool1:

Eliz, this might seem like an ODD question...but why don't you just ask your Bro??

If he has researched this, taking his DD and has made his ressie, I would think he would have the up-to-date info on exactly what "princess for a day" is!!!!

The only Princess of the Day I know of is when they randomly choose a girl at MK and read a proclamation and all that. My lil cousin was just named Princess of the Day while waiting in line for the Carrousel about a month ago. It's not something you can sign up for or schedule. He may be thinking of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique as a previous poster said.

I think it might have something to do with the million wishes thing. I remember seeing a commercial where they say something about princess for the day and the girls are then magically in princess dresses. It said something about getting magical fast passes too.
Hopefully he was talking about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

i think it is about the norway princess bkft..2003 after checking in,
some guy asked our daughter if she wanyed to be the princess of
the day, during their opening cermony. they gave her a robe,
cap, and wand..she  "ordering" her brothers around. princess:

Could he have meant that he's taking his DD to WDW for a day where she gets one-on-one Daddy time and he'll treat her like a princess for a day?

when we were there 1/24-1/30 a little girl had been made princess of the day at MK--She rode in her own horse drawn carriage with the guy from extreme makeover(michael..something)

There were people carrying a banner that said princess for a day then there was her carriage--they did this just before the parade started

I later read she was a wish child and had been given the honor as part of the opening of the new wish kids break room area

Exactly!

You're so silly! Actually, I talked to my SIL about it, and she didn't know for sure. My brother is a doctor and very hard to get a hold of. I think SIL and I came to the conclusion that it's the BBB mentioned here. And she discovered it was like $175.00 for the whole thing, so they nixed that idea. For $35.00 they can just get her hair done. I told her I'd do it for just $25.00!:rotfl: Thanks for your help. I knew I could count on ya'll!
