I see the threads about preferred seating....but what is it? Do we need it? and is it something I can buy? :confused3

There is this thing called "Priority Seating" where Disney Dining reservations (Which are free to make) for Character or non Character meals can be made starting 60 days prior to the date you want your meal on. The earlier you call the better chance you will have of getting the time you want to have your meal to accommodate your party size.

Which restaurant were you looking into eating at?

Preferred seating has to do with about 4 shows. It is typically part of a package deal from the WDTC, AAA, or Costco. We had it for our last trip but only used 1 of the shows (Aladdin). It allowed us to line up in a separate line and be admitted to the theater first.

OOOH Thanks. There is a Preferred Seating? Honestly I thought it was the same as Priority Seating. I stand corrected. Thanks so much. I learned something totally new today. :thumbsup2
