What is POP Warner?

Thinking of going Dec. 7-11 and have seen mention on here something about that being POP Warner week. What the heck is this?!

pop warner is akin to little league baseball, but only for football... i believe they have tournaments at the wide world of sports complex and stay at wdw value resorts...

Does this affect the crowds at the parks very much? Does anyone know if they will indeed be there Dec. 7-11? Staying at the YC, should I worry?

Oh my. I'd stay away from the All Stars during that time. If it's anything like the Cheerleader contest week, those resorts are crazy. I didn't notice any difference in the parks.

Pop Warner is a league of junior football teams and cheerleader teams ages 5 to 16. They come to WDW each December for their "Super Bowl". See highlights from last year:
