What Is Pop Warner?

Those are the 2007 dates. OP was asking about 2008.

In 2008, Thanksgiving falls later in the month, November 27th... so Pop Warner participants should start arriving at WDW c. December 6th, 2008.

We were there last year while Pop Warner was there and we had the same concerns. We had no issues as we warned that they stay at the value resorts so we stayed at CSR. I really didn't see them in the park, save a few times but they were not a problem. We only heard cheering once. I hardly saw the football players except for there sport jerseys. We had more issues with the weather, a bit colder when we went as we hit a cold spell. Also, Live with Regis and Kelly were filming on one day that we went to MK and it was a nightmare. It gave us an idea of what holidays might be like at MK. I would recommend never, never to do that especially with kids in tote. Glad we had park hoppers.

so does anyone know the dates of when pop warner and the cheerleaders will actually be there? Does anyone know what hotel they are staying at?

I believe it's the first full week of December (12/3-12/8). As far as hotels, they stay all over the place. I was unable to get a room for this week at any of the DVC resorts (BCV, FWV, AKL, SSR, OKW, BWV) so I would imagine that they were booked up by a lot of these groups. Also, the All-Star resorts get hit pretty hard by these groups. When we were there in 05 during this week, the Port Orleans Riverside also had a lot too.

Oops. That's what i get for posting while at work. Since POP Warner goes on during the first week of December, i'd say 11/30 through 12/6/08 would be great dates. I plan on going 12/6 thru 12/13 so i hope they aren't there that week.
