What is Pop Warner Week?

Just wondered what Pop Warner Week is. We are going December 4-10 and I wondered how this will effect the crowds?

You are going Pop Warner Week. It will have some effect but more at the hotels (especially all stars and pop). I honestly wouldnt worry too much, I have gone several times on that week and they truly aren't that bad at all. Kids are kids, are kids.

It's a league of 8 to 16 year old football players & cheerleaders. They have their "Super Bowl" at Wide World of Sports that week.
There are 64 football teams and over 400 cheerleader squads.

We were there during Pop Warner week in Dec. 2003. We stayed at AKL, so we didn't have any issues there. We did notice groups of teens mainly at MGM and Downtown Disney. Not much in the other parks. I would think that unless you are staying at a Value or some of the Moderates, you probably would have no idea they were there.
