what is Pop Warner week?

We are going 12/3-12/6 and keep hearing about pop warner week - what is it exactly?

Pop warner week is like the superbowl of pop warner football.I beleive they also have a national dance/cheer comp at the same time.It's usaully not the first week of dec (which is when we will be there as well) but tjis year they changed it.
I was a little worries at first but after readding other posts on it I got the immpression that it doesn't increase park attendance all that much cause the kids spend modt of the time at the sport complex but if you are staying in a value resort be prepared for a very loud stay.
but look at the positive.

1-It will still be less crowded that Cristmas,Spring break and summer break
2-you'll be at Disney

You'll have a great time. I live in Fl and the weather is perfect that time of year and all the decorations are up for the holidays

for the info - I'm just happy we get to go to Disney during christmas...The kids are so excite (so am i, LOL)...I can't wait we are going to be at CBR so I wont have to worry about noise.

I was worried at first also. Reading other posts put my mind at ease. We'll be at CBR at the same time 12-3 / 12-9. I put in a request for Jamica 45 or Aruba 51. See ya there.

I shouldn't laugh considering we'll be there that week with DD15, but found this highly amusing. When I told DH...not so amused...so I guess I know who'll be on the alert .

Also, friends of ours went last year the same week as Pop Warner and said they didn't notice any problems in the parks with them. As long as I'm at WDW, I'll make sure I have a good time.

Thanks for answering that question. I planned this week to go a long time ago, because it was suppose to be one of the slowest weeks of the year. We are not staying on site, so that won't be a problem. I always have fun at Disney world , so I am not to worried.

I never took it as threatening. Most kids in sports get along fine and have decent manners. But alot of times when a group of kids that age get let loose , they can be pretty rude.
