pop warner is football and cheerleading.

It is happening December 5-11- my exact dates. There are several tlhreads on the other boards that discuss this topic. Here's what I've gathered:
They stay at all-stars and POR
They are very busy with their stuff and shouldn't affect park attendance- let's hope this one is true
They will attend a special party Friday night at MGM- I think after hours- I assume this is true b/c MGM closes an hour earlier this night
If you are staying at all-stars or POR, you get conflicting reports by people who have stayed at the same hotel as them. Most say they were loud with the practicing in the early and late hours. the food courts were busy, and the buses were busy. Others say they weren't bothered at all.
That's about all I know... guess I'll know more after my trip!!!

we are staying at pop century from dec 5 thru 10. i HOPE we wont be bothered by it, i am going to be dealing with a 9 mo old!!!!!!! I need to find out more about it so i can avoid them!!

yes the mgm party is after hours
the cheerleaders can be loud at sometimes
the parks arnt that crowded but you have the occasional group of cheerleaders cheering but not that often

i kno ive been there for cheerleading 2 years

we were there early december last year, and we did see a number of groups of cheerleaders in the parks - we only knew they were cheerleaders because they had matching t-shirts or ribbons in their hair. I didn't find them to be any problem, we didn't encounter any rowdiness or poor behaviour - just excited girls with their families - they always seemed to be very well chaperoned.
