What is our price for annual passes?

I can't seem to find these prices anywhere. Does anyone know the price for an adult or child annual pass? Do dvc'ers get a discount?

I'm thinking of buying our park tickets here at home (through CAA or airmiles) and having Guest Services trade them in towards the purchase of our APs . . . will they do this? Has anyone else tried?

I'm also looking into the value of buying the DDE. Does both my husband and myself have to buy into this or can just one of us as the discount is applied to the full bill anyways.

What do you think? Any suggestions are welcome, we're planning our first trip as DVC owners this winter so I'm looking for ideas for savings!

DVC price is Annual Pass- 10+ $315.00 ages 3-9 is $277.00
Premium AP- 10+ $414.00 ages 3-9 is $364.00

Unused ticket can be traded in for upgrades.

DDE has saved us so much money I highly reccomend getting this!

I want to say the DVC price for an Adult regular Annual pass, 4 parks - no waterparks - no PI - no Disney Quest was $325; if you want all the extras it was $425. -EDITED TO ADD THE PRICES MENTIONED IN THE ABOVE THREAD ARE PROBABLY MORE CORRECT TO MY "ABOUT" NUMBERS.

I have to say, I never understand why buying a wrong ticket and then upgrading when you get there. It takes all of about 15 minutes to buy your actual annual pass which you'd have to do to trade in the wrong one anyway. I do understand why people feel the need to have things "pre-paid" but you are not going to save anytime by buying something you are not going to use and then having to upgrading or exchanging. Anyway that's my 2 cents. I would assume yes you could upgrade but I'd call and ask first. You are still going to have to pay the difference of the cash price of your ticket and what an annual pass cost.

The Dining card is $60 for one card and extra $25 for the second card. One card is good for the whole family up to 10 people eating at the same time. I admit I did pay the extra $25 as in the event you split up you'd each have one to use.

I'm thinking of doing this with the passes we'll buy with our airmiles (i think that's only for us canadians - it a loyalty program connected with Mastercard and various retailers - we can accumulate "miles" and use them for merchandise or airtravel - they've added Disney passes as a merchandise to buy with miles and I've enough for 1 5-day adult pass (basic) and 2 5-day basic passes for the kids. The only actual cash cost of our annual passes would be the difference in value so that is what I'm trying to figure out.
If it makes a difference in savings with our exchange rate I'll look into buying the fourth ticket from CAA - last year we saved about $25 per ticket just because the exchange rate CAA gave on their discounted tickets was better that what the bank would give us for our cash.

Well that does explain why if would make much more sense for you to buy in advance. I'd just make sure you could do the exchange and then go for it.

Our renew cost in June for the AP was $308 with taxes etc.

This past May we paid $325. for the regular annual pass with the DVC discount. We paid $314. in May 2005.
