I feel like all year I find myself wanting a million things and then Christmas rolls around and I draw a blank when people ask for ideas. So tell me, what's on your list?
On mine thus far:
Alex&Ani cross bracelet
Keurig Mini (but only if it goes on BF sale or something for like $50...not sure if that is realistic but for how little I drink hot beverages that is the most that would make it worth it for me)

I want the brand new Fitbit Charge that is on pre order on Amazon. I keep checking for it to be in stock and not yet. So I guess this won't be a Christmas gift afterall b/c I will buy it soon as it is released! :)

I told my parents to each sign up for the Disney visa with the referral reward thing and they will each earn 200.00 in Disney giftcards so they are giving me 400 for my birthday next month which costs them nothing, lol! So really what else could a girl ask for????

*Cuisinart food processor
*keyboard with light-up keys
*new Portmeirion Botanic Garden bowls (mine are getting cracked etc)
*gift card to my favorite yarn shop

Now, I won't get any of those things, but I've made a small list just in case! DH and I don't usually get each other gifts and the people who get me things couldn't afford the above :)

I think I want a le crueset pot. Not sure the best place to buy for a good deal and not sure what size or shape I want either.

A new vacuum is my top request. Other things are babysitting for date nights and restaurant giftcards.

Argh I do that too!!! I swear every year that I will keep a running list of things as I think of them but I never do. So when someone asks I draw a blank:rolleyes:.

This year I'd like,
New luggage (ours is pretty sad looking)
A new detachable shower head (which is boring but would make washing our muddy dog much easier)
New Kitchen knives. (Mine are old and dull and make cutting and chopping a pain).

That's all I can think of offhand.

For those who forget what you want, I keep the notepad app on my phone. I have a separate note on there for each family member and myself. When someone mentions something they want during the year, I type it into their note. I also keep a running to-do list and home project list because my memory is horrible.

I am the same way about blanking out when someone asks me what I want, this way I can check my phone & see what I've put down. I don't do well when put on the spot and I also forget what the kids have told me.

On my list -
kitchen floor - this has to wait until probably next summer, no more beige tile!
big TV for basement - family gift-might wait for January/Superbowl sales
another pair of black yoga pants
set of dishes - mine are 16 yrs old & pattern is fading
B&BW candles & body wash
new phone case
book light
Nikes to replace my old ones
pendant & silver ring from etsy
Claddaugh ring to replace the one that got lost years ago
floor steamer
maybe a new coat with a hood
Starbucks GC
Amazon GC for books

I use the app on my phone called SANTAS BAG. I would be lost without this!! It is free and then if you want you can do the upgraded 2.99 version. Last year I did free and b/c I loved it so much I upgraded but honestly there isn't much difference! You can track what you want, where it is, cost and every recipient on your list. It is the best thing invented I think, lol! Even tracks your budget and you can notate if it is a wish, gift, what status it is in, etc. then whey I go shopping it pulls up a master list of what is missing off everyone's list - easy shopping list!

That sounds great!! Thanks, I'm off to add that to my phone.

I love Santas bag! It helped me budget much better as well as keep track of what I'd purchased.

Nothing.

I have spent the better part of this year.....and I am still....sorting through decades of unused Christmas and birthday gifts and donating or throwing stuff away.

DW and I looked at a new car as all 3 of our vehicles have over 100k miles on them. Nothing excited us enough to spend $30-$60,000 when $500 per car would fix any issues they had.

Looked at a big screen TV........then realized that the vast majority of the time the TV isn't on, or when it is, it is on Sirius music channel, or an old black and white movie or classic black and white TV show.

I have $200 in Amazon gift cards for books for my Kindle app, since I rarely spend more than $5 per book....and am big on free books, going to be a while before I use that up.

I really just want to sit down with my family and watch all our family videos. We have not done this and our kids are 17 and 13. That would mean a lot to me.

I have just started a 6-month fitness makeover (my way of dealing with turning 40 next Spring :rotfl:). I am finding it next to impossible to get to the gym due to childcare issues and being in college full time. So, what I really want is a home elliptical machine and a fitbit.

We have dozens of photo albums and a hundred VHS and VHSC tapes of family videos that we never watch. I did pull a tape out once to embarrass my son in front of his girlfriend, but other than that, they just gather dust.
Have hundreds of photos on the hard drivers of each of our computers too, never look at them.
That's why I always laugh at the people on the cruise line forum talking about taking 1,500 or more photos on a week long cruise. That's over 200 photos a day, 13 every waking hour, one every 5 minutes. If you're taking that many photos, are your also taking time to enjoy the cruise?

A dual battery box & battery cutoff switch for the boat.

How did you do this? We have a Disney Visa but I'm the primary on it. I'd like my husband to get one just for the reward but we've never come across the 200 offer.

top of the list is the same as it's been for the past 17 years-a picture of both my kids with Santa. I've got a photo album that is stored with the Christmas decorations and holds nothing but these photos from over the years (and I was THRILLED to find among mom and mil's photos one or two of us from when we were little)

other than that, not much-

wall blow dryer (like hotels have)
a couple of inexpensive clothing items.

my letter to Santa tends more to be "please do not bring me anymore..." lists:rotfl: (until I finish watching the almost 900 dvds and vhs movies we own I don't need any more thank you).

I want a Disney Dooney & Bourke purse. That's it. I'm saving the money so I can buy one while we're at WDW.
