We just went to Trader Sam's last week for drinks and appetizers. It was so much fun. Surprisingly, we had no issue getting in around 9:30 on a Sunday night. There is a wide variety of drinks, including a few that can be shared. I had a Mai-Tai. My husband had the shrunken head. They were both really good and quite strong. The food menu is more limited than what I was expecting. We had the pork tacos and sliders. The tacos were awesome. The sliders were ok. Here is a link, I found on YouTube with the menu

I'm heading to Disney in June and definitely making a stop at the Grotto. Too bad their menu doesn't have cocktail prices. But regardless I'm totally trying the HippopotoMai-Tai.

I thinkthe HippopotoMai Tai was $15 if I remember correctly.

We had the Mai tai, shrunken head, nautilus and one of the non-alcoholic drinks. Bill came to $70 if I recall (can't recall much due to the excess alcohol! And nautilus cup wasn't available to take home at the time).

How was the Shrunken Head? I'm torn between Mai Tai and that. Both come with a very cool souvenir glass.

I know, this looks like a different menu than what was posted at soft opening. A lot of sandwiches. It seems the pork tacos and the sushi are now gone. Hopefully, they'll bring back additional non-sandwich options.
