What is necessary to get on the add on list?

I have spoken with my guide and am told that I am now on the list for an add on, however it sounds like others here had to give a credit card number and that it is charged when points become available. I was not asked for my cc and I want to make sure that everything is OK. Did everyone here give a credit card number? Did you have to send an "official" email or letter? Thanks for any info

I gave a CC # and was charged the $500 today....No letter or anything, just the $500 deposit.....

He could be using a cc on file. Tink10 got her points today, so that is why she was charged today. I am on the waitlist for points as well, and this last time, I was not asked my credit card number, but was advised by my guide that my cc would be charged $500 when my points come thru. I guess he was just using a card on file...gee, I hope that number still works!!!
