I've been away from the boards for a little while (working overseas--but I'm back!) and I just came across this MYW. I read that it is replacing Q&C vouchers...I need a full understanding.
1. What does MYW stand for and what are they?
Magic
Your
Way is the new ticket program that WDW will institute on 1/2/2005. The tickets will replace the old park hoppers. You will have more flexibility with these passes, deciding on how many days you want, whether you want pluses or not, whether you want to hop between parks and whether you want the passes to come with an expiration or not. Each option will add to the cost of the pass.
2. How much do they cost?
The cost will vary based on the number of days that you purchase. There is a good breakdown of the prices in chart form at
AllEarsNet.com . You do not need to be staying at a WDW resort in order to get these passes.
You can purchase them at disney.com, your local
Disney Store or from a number of online ticketbrokers like
Ticketmania.com ,
FloridaOrlandoTickets.net , or
MapleLeafTickets.com
You confusion about the MYW tickets and the Q&C vouchers may arise from the new package addon that WDW is also introducing. In the future, you will be able to purchase a meal package addon to you WDW vacation package. The meal package will include a sitdown meal, a counterservice meal and a snack each day of you stay. The cost per adult will be $35 per day. You cannot purchase the dining addon unless you have purchased a WDW vacation package. You cannot add it on to a room-only package.
Because Disney will be implimenting this new dining option, they will no longer make the meal vouchers available to outside sources like FloridaOrlandoTickets.
