We went last June (20th) and the heat was not as bad as I thought it would be...yes, it was shockingly hot (upper 90's) but the pools and ac were refreshing...we just tried to take it easy mid day...a couple of nights I actually could have used a light jacket!...The crowds got busier closer to the fourth of July. We took pictures of the "wait time" signs on some of the rides that said "0" or "5" minutes.
Thanks jmurphy625 for the info. Our family trip is planned for June 16th-21st. I was becoming a little concerned about the heat and crowds. This trip has to take place between high school graduation and the start of college. I felt that june would probably be better as far as the heat is concerned.
We went in June for the first time. It was HOT & CROWDED! Another thing to know, its the rainiest month in FL so keep that in mind for your daily afternoon rainfest!
We hope to be there again next June with our lgmh's on so look for us!
Thanks everyone!! I would rather not go during he summer at all. But, with our family trip we don't really have a choice. At least DH and I are getting to go just after Thanksgiving this year!! Can't wait!!
We went this year 6/20-28. We had a great time, but it was very hot and by 11 AM the parks were very crowded. It rained a lot due to a weather system (not just typical summer afternoon showers) toward the end of our stay. Those stylish ponchoes are the bomb!
I had the choice between the end of June or August. I picked June, just hope the temps aren't too, too bad. As for lines, I'm ready for that, just hope the kiddos are.
