We sailed in Dec of '03 and the waves were rocking the boat!!! We even missed CC becaue the weather was too bad. How is May in comparison to December? I would love to go again, but DH will be unsure because the seas were so rough when we went in Dec. :boat:

We cruised last May on Disney, and the seas were perfect. Calm, blue and beautiful, no wind. We went on RCL last month, and we had the same seas you did, they were AWFUL.

When we went in May '04 the first 2 days we had near gale-force winds across the deck.. VERY WINDY!!! The pools were really cold as well, did not stop the kids of course.
Our servers even asked us on the third night if anyone got sick, because the sea was pretty rough, I think we had 12-15 foot seas.

The remaining time it was smooth and warm!!!

We went in May 2002 and May 2004 and are going again this May...May is awesome for cruising! Weather was nice and warm, waters warm to swim in and only one rough night of seas due to some storm.

Has anyone cruised the week of Memorial Day? Just curious how crowded the ships are that week. I've booked that week in May 2006 - special cruise with 2 stops at Castaway Cay.

May is a great time to cruise. We did it in 2002 and 2003 and have it booked for 2006.

Thanks for the info. I really want to go again, it sounds like May would be a great time to go!
