What is Magical Begginings?

Can someone tell me what Magical Beginnings is? I have never heard of this before.

It's a sales incentive when buying directly from Disney. You sell back some or all of your first year points for a credit off the price. At BCV, it's $5 per point. So if you buy 150 points you can sell back 150 points for use year 2002 for a $750 credit. Not really worth it in my opinion for $5/point, you could stay for more than a week in a studio for 150 points. At Vero Beach I think they are offering more - $10 or $15 a point.

We are using magical beginnings for our 250 pt purchase at VB. They are buying back our first years points at $15 per pt. A good deal for us because we just returned from WDW and VB (paid cash because we don't belong yet) and we don't need another vacation right now so why not sell back our first years pts.

The buy back at some other resorts is only $5/pt which probably isn't worth it-more fun just to use them since you don't save that much.

In our case it just happens to work out. We buy 250 pts at VB, Disney buys the first years back at $15/pt which gives us a good amount of money off our membership or you could say we are getting the pts for $65 a peice.

I think that you'll still finds RESALES to be a much better deal than Magical Beginnings .........

And understand why the MB at VB is so high. They can't sell those points. They will lie and use fraudulant sales pitches to get anyone to buy there. Their awful sales experiences at VB and HH have made it all but certain that we will never again see a DVC resort of Disney property, I feel pretty confident that they won't even venture of WDW property again.
