What is LIVE365

I saw some one mention 'listening to it' while they unpacked at the resort... What is it? And how do you listen?

Live365 (live365.com) is a collection of Internet "radio stations". It includes a number of Disney related stations. There are other similar services including Shoutcast (shoutcast.com), Rokuradio (radioroku.com) and others. Using a computer/laptop or many smart phones, you can stream audio (and video) to your devices.

You can also connect to many "Stations" directly; DisneyTunes Live (http://www.dtuneslive.com/), Utilidors Audio Broadcasting (http://www.uabmagic.com/) and Subsonic Radio (http://www.subsonicradio.com) are all sites you can connect to directly to get a Disney fix! I believe all of them can also be found using Shoutcast and probably Live365. I connect to these using my cell phone (a Palm Pre) and at home using an streaming device (Roku Soundbridge) as well as through my laptop.

I love live365.com, it really gives me my Disney fix that I need inbetween our vacations (plus going on the Dis a lot too ). My presets are set to channels that specifically play music that you hear in the parks or around WDW Resort. One thing to remember about live365.com is that they will ask you to become a member, which you do not have to inorder to listen to the music, the only difference with becoming a member and not is that if you are not a member, there are more commercials (which doesn't bother me). Check it out, it is awesome.

Not on a streaming station. Unlike something like Pandora or Slacker the online radio stations just play the stream. Some will include titles and the like but you can't skip through the stream. It comes to you as it is transmitted.
