What is Jersey Week?

Don't worry all you Jersey people...the rest of us will not let your "facts" about Jersey get in the way of our impressions of you.

...and there is nothing better than the food you can get in jersey..pizza is real italian pizza and my husbands family brings these handmade raviolis that are great and bagels..oh my!

I have to laugh when people on the rest. forum ask about pizza or Italian at WDW. No way would I eat that stuff in Orlando. I am a BIG pizza snob. Of course, I have no issue with Mexican chain rest. We don't know what real Mexican food in like in NJ. I'll go to On the Border, never Olive Garden. Each region has their thing.

Goes to show you that most of us don't fit the media's sterotype of what it means to be from NJ. BTW, we are not crazy about the "what exit?" thing. I find it a bit offensive. NJ is much more than the NJTpk and the NJ Parkway. It is truly a beautiful state.

Which is exactly why I always bring up the "what exit you from" to anyone I know is from New Jersey - because you guys don't like it. I'm originally from Pennsylvania so know all about New Jersey since I lived right next to it for the first 20 years of my life.

That's not nice! BTW, it is more than anoying, it makes you look pretty silly. Since you lived close to NJ you know that the state is more than two highways.

This is interesting.

I had no idea since we were told by a CM that they call the 3rd (?) week in Feb Jersey Week due to the fact that alot of the East Coast has school days off for Presidents week. Hence large numbers of East coasters with accents at Disney.

I had no idea that there was a week in Nov.

Oh well, learn something new every day

I was in Disney in August and saw lots of Jersey folks. My husband wore his Rutgers hat when we were there. I can't tell you how many people stopped us to talk about Rutgers. One morning there were 12 adults on the bus, all of us were Rutgers alum. I guess every week is Jersey Week at Disney
