I've been very frustrated when reading different TV show threads because of the spoilers. For the most part I thiink my frustration is because people don't have the same definition of spoiler.
IMO talking about and episode that has already aired is not a spoiler. People have not watched the most recent episdoe should avoid the thread. A solution I have seen in other places is a new thread for each episode (example - Rockstar 08-22-06). The current thread usually dies once a new episdoe airs.
On the other hand, things about future episodes that come from fan sites or magazines are spoilers and it's sad that these are not hidden. Once again, other sites have a

Hopefully I'm not the only one really frustrated that you can't follow a thread about a show without seeing info real spoiler about episodes two weeks out. Maybe people are just beyond wanting to watch shows as they develop and want spoilers all the time.
This will get even worse as the popular series start back up again.
