What is it with all this thunder, lightning and heavy rain??

Anyone else getting this? (I'm in SE MA) I was up most the night with DD4 and it seemed that we had at least 6 storms roll through. Yesterday was the same, and here it is just after 7 a.m. and this is the third storm I've heard today! The rain has been so hard you can't even see out the windows.

I'm in MA and just heard right now it is in Natick and another roll is on it's way south of Boston. My cat was scared, ran under the bed, I was scared to and I am 45 (feels good to say 45, the 27th I am 46, all done hill from there. )

It was a loud night. We lost power during the night but it is back on now. I had my 4yo dd sleep iwth me so she could cuddle(she's not a fan of storms).

Yep, we're getting bad storms too. The other night it looked like a hurricane was hitting my backyard. Lightning struck my brother's house yesterday too. Not too much damage, just zapped their cable and phone lines.

I'm tired of rain.

Its been pretty crazy out there for the last 24 hours. Looks like its going to stick around a while, but the weekend should be good. Yay!

I know, I was saying the same thing yesterday. It seems like it would rain so heavy for about 10-15 minutes and then later it would subside for about a half hour and then it would start up all over again! My DD is away in Boston for an overnight camp trip and I'm worried. She called me this morning and said that it was only drizzling and the sun was starting to come out. I hope so for her and the other kids' sake. She won't be home until Thursday night!
