What is it like...

The weekend and early the next week after Thanksgiving? I have always wanted to see the decorations and lights in Disney around Christmas time and I am thinking about going this year...so, is it crowded, how is the weather and what should I knowabout this time of year?

Do you mean Thanksgiving weekend itself? Very crowded.

Early the following week? Very empty!

Weather is usually cool; average high is in the mid 70s and morning lows are in the 50s.

The parks are crowded starting the Saturday before Thanksgiving, until the Sunday after. Sort of builds up- busiest Wed., Thurs., Frid. and Sat. are the worst.

If at all possible I'd definetly try to avoid the weekend of Thanksgiving. It will be busy. Anytime after that up until the Christmas holiday will be a great time to visit.

We arrived the sunday after Thanskgiving this last year and stayed a week.
That sunday night we did MGM and osborne lights, it really was not crowded at all. Everyone tends to go home that sunday.

It was a nice week, the weather was great! Crowds very managable, and the decor is so pretty!
I would recommend this time of year for sure.
