What is it like in JULY?!!!

In 2003, we went for two weeks in early July and LOVED IT! :sunny:

Right after July 4th, there are a couple days when it is relatively uncrowded; all the fireworks fanatics have gone home! Then it picks up again.

But: get up early and you'll be fine. For the first couple hours, the weather is warm, but manageable, and the crowds are not overwhelming. Use FastPass and you can decrease your wait time significantly. Plan to leave the parks and relax at your hotel after lunch.

And plan to spend some time in the parks in the evenings -- it's great! Cooler, less crowded, and with all the lights, truly magical. :goodvibes

We're going back again for two weeks, this July, and can't wait.

Yeah, it's warm. Okay: HOT. But we live in NYC, where 90 degrees and 100% humidity is common in July. If I gotta sweat, I'd rather sweat with The Mouse! :earsboy:

We were there last week of July, last year. As others have said, it is hot. DH has some respiratory problems, so we do not do "commando" park hopping. More irritating than the heat is the rain that you can count on nearly every day. Mostly short (in duration) torrential downpours. You can prepare for this by bringing panchos and packing 2 pair of walking shoes in case one pair gets soaked.

To deal with the heat, drink lots of water and rest frequently. The Florida sun is very, very strong so always wear sunscreen.

The crowds are thick, but not unmanagable.

Have fun!! :flower:

We went last year on the 4th and it was hot but better than it was the 3rd week of August.
