Has this happened to anyone else? When my family was at WDW 12 years ago (all adults) we went on TTA and thought "oh my how lame" and couldn't believe that people actually hopped on this thing. Then last March we took our kids to WDW for the first time. They loved TTA and made us ride it 5 times. Riding it with them and seeing their reaction to everything they saw and drove by gave me a new appreciation for it. I even found myself suggesting to ride it  Hearing their laughter and seeing their amazement is worth the 10 minute ride on it. We videotaped them on it and I smile everytime I watch the tape.

TTA is an awesome ride... It's relaxing and I love seeing everything in the park while I'm on it. Ride it as the sun is setting.... Awesome Picture opportunities.

TTA is the best ride at WDW when you've got to rest your feet.

We love TTA. It's relaxing, there is never a line, great views and awesome photo ops.

oh my goodness, I have loved the TTA since the first time I rode it back in 1979!! My DSis and I actually still call it the WedWay People Mover! :rotfl:

But seriously, it is such a favorite that we schedule it into our day. and yes it is a great way to rest those tired feet!!

I love it! I wish they had one that lasted longer and went around the whole MK! That would be so much fun. It's relaxing, and awesome because you can people watch and see everything that's going on in Tomorrowland. It's one of my favorites, honestly.

We agree!!! We enjoy taking a break and listening to all the corny sayings...

We were the EXACT same way. Skipped it on our honeymoon trip in '99 thinking it would be as boring as I remembered it from a few years prior when I was in high school. This year we ended up on it at least 4 times with our 4 and 2 yr old DDs. We have tons of pictures from the ride and just experienced the intangibles of the ride. It's a nice break on your feet. The kids can just enjoy seeing MK from a different prospective and the view of the castle from the TTA is pretty cool too! I'm with the PP who said having one around the whole MK...the train is pretty cool but you don't have a great vantage point the whole time on the ride....

The great thing about the "Blue Line" (as we call it) is you can always ride it! When the wait for Space Mountain is 90 minutes, and there are lines for fastpasses to get in the line for fastpasses for Buzz Lightyear, you can just hop right on TTA!

"Paging Mr. Morrow. Mr. Tom Morrow. Your party from Saturn has arrived. Please give them a ring." :teeth:

I love it too! The fact that you can hop on at virtually any time (except maybe NYE) and relax, is just great. Very relaxing and fun, in it's own way.

ahhh..a secret gem... I've seen it, but I've never been on it! I'll have to check it out this year! (Where is the entrance?)

The entrance is near the entrance to Buzz Lightyear... you actually have to go up a moving walkway to get to the boarding area.

OH MY GOSH....SWTNIKKI!~!!!! you wrote that and I got goosebumps! I felt like I was actually on it :lmao: :lmao:

The TTA may actually be my favorite ride in Disney. Seriously. Something about it just makes me so darned happy that I can't stop smiling. :)

Ha! Me too--I always turn to dh several times a day during our visit and say--"hey, let's hit the wedway" :goodvibes

ahhhhhh the wedway people mover.

my family loves this.

as young kids, we loved going on it to see the park that we had spent all day walking. we thought the escalator up to it was all part of the ride. it was a great way to relax your feet!

as older kids, we would go on space mountain and my mum would hop on the wedway and relax while we waited in line. LOL

when i took my dh with me a few years ago, it was nostalgic for me! and i was able to appreciate the views...and it made me miss the skyway/skyline for those views (and creaky ride!)

when we go this year we will go on it, i am sure at least once each day we are in the magic kingdom. shaded, no wait, rest your feet, chat about what you want to do next, enjoy the company we are with.

its a great ride!

I love the space "music" they play on it. It's also a great place to get a baby or toddler to give up and doze off.

Grammy takes the littlest no-coaster riders on the people mover, I ride space mountain with the older kids (hubby and grampy) then we all ride TTA because the kids liked it so much they want to go again anyway.
