What is in YOUR "park day bag"?

I was thinking about taking my Ipad so I can use the Disney App. Do I leave this in the stroller? Or can I take a small backpack on the rides with me to keep my Ipad with me?

Unless it is really well hidden, I would make sure to take it with you. And even if it is hidden, you wouldn't be sure it was safe.

Will Disney let you ride with a small backpack? If not maybe I should just use my smartphone for the app.

Its my dream to go bagless one day. But I cant seem to part without my sunscreen and a poncho. Plus, my pants normally dont have pockets for some odd reason. Perhaps I should buy some?

I would definitely put your ipad and any valuables with you in backpack. You can take backpack in rides with no problem. I think I read somewhere here before someone got their purse stolen while washing their hands in the bathroom.

EDIT: I always have BIG backpack with me on rides with no problem. I usually put everyone's jackets (it was cold at night when we went), water bottles, etc.

No, don't chance it. All you need is one person to see you using your ipad before parking the stroller.

For that matter, I'd encourage you to leave the iPad at home/hotel. If you have an Android or Apple smartphone, it works just as well on there and if you don't I'd encourage you to get an iPod touch or inexpensive small Android device that would fit in a pocket and work well enough with the park wi-fi and use MDE that way.

Please do not leave anything you are willing to lose in your stroller. Taking a small backpack filled with your valuables is the best idea.

One year when we we staying at the Boardwalk my father bought two hats (baseball style cap) and some things for the kids from the gift shop and he went and sat down on one of the circular sofas in the lobby. He put the bag down next to him and someone sitting on the opposite side reached around and walked off with the bag.

It's sad to say but I trust no one.
