We ordered a lot but we are eating breakfast in room and packing a lunch every day for four people for 7 days. We only have 5 TS dinners booked.

We leave the first of November and I'm thinking of making an order too. Does the milk stay cold? I'm worried if our flight gets delayed our produce and milk will just be sitting there. TIA

They usually have a fridge at bell services for grocery orders

Want to keep your garden grocer bill low, Use UPS and ship.
We ship down non perishable food chips, crackers, etc.
The resorts will hold your package for you ( i want to say they will hold it up to a week). Just have you name and reservation number on the package. More than likely it will be in you room when you get there.

Also it is cheap to ship. ground service from toledo oh to wdw is about 12 bucks. and takes about 2 days to get there so ship it early

Now all you need to order from garden grocer is drinks, fruit, milk, beer.

What we send down in package:
Cereal and paper bowls, snacks, ziplock bags for snack in parks (make your own baggy), rain gear, sunscreen and things of that nature.

If you really want to get adventurous, Ship down all your clothes and you will not have to pay for bags on the plane. LOL my wife won't let me do that though.

Have done this for 2 years now a works great.

Great suggestion! We live in Canada so the shipping expensive and possibility it would get stuck at customs is way to high to risk.

For four adults (two of them elderly) and one 3 year old for 5-6 nights, we eat lunch in the room nearly daily, and very light breakfasts of cereal/yogurt and coffee and we all enjoy an afternoon adult beverage or 5. Also, we are DVC and stay in a 2brdm villa:

two loaves of white bread
2 lbs of deli turkey
pack of am cheese (somethign I never have at home...but easy)
tomatoes
lettuce
mustard
mayo and mirace whip (really, boys?)
juice boxes (enough for two a day)
bag of chips
apple slices (the big box, we all eat these)
apple sauces pouches, 8(when all else fails, my kid will eat these)
dozen eggs and one pack of bacon (we eat hot breakfast in the room once, usually)
6 pack of water in sports bottle style (we refill and reuse)
cheerios
4-8 yogurts
1-2 frozen pizzas (for my parents, when they give us date night)
gallon of milk
bottle of OJ
thing of coffee
fancy creamer (only on vaca, at home I use milk and splenda)
12 pack of diet coke
12 pack of good beer for my husband
12 pack of crappy beer for my dad
Black Box Pinot Grigio for me (don't judge, its only 3.5 bottles...)

From home I bring raisins and gold fish because they are the airplane/airport snacks for the boy.

This is the first time we've decided to try this. We are just getting a few things:

Bottled Water
Milk
Bolthouse Farms protein drink
Oranges
Bananas
Sunscreen
Donuts

I think that's all I ordered.

we are on the QS plan but still get a few things Rice crispies
Milk
Bottled water x12
Fruit
Lays
Yoghurts x6
Cake mix (to take home)
Bread

Pop Tarts and Bagels are great for quick breakfast you can take to the bus stop.

Bread, cheese, yogurt, milk, cereal, carrots, grapes, soup, pb, jelly, juice boxes, water, butter, ham, frozen waffles, muffins, pretzels, bananas, apple sauce. You would have no idea how many ADRS we have based on our shopping list!

We are going down from Canada too and I'm thinking of taking a lot of snacks in my suitcase. I was planning to have an empty suitcase on the way down for any purchases I make down there so figure I may as well take snack food like granola bars, goldfish crackers, etc. in the suitcase. The snack items seemed kind of expensive on Garden grocer. Still planning to get some items delivered. I also hear tea is really different down there so I may buy a cheap kettle and bring teabags. If I only pay $10 for the kettle I won't mind just leaving it there.

Which is better price wise- amazon pantry or garden grocer? Also, do you need to request a fridge in your room (grand floridian) or do the rooms all have a fridge?

We bought mostly drinks. Water, Beer, cider, juice mixers, red bull (I bring little airplane sized bottles of liquor in my suitcase) We love having a drink midday and at the end of the day at Disney but can't stomach the prices at the bars!

yogurts
LG container of cut up fruit
protein bars

Breakfast in the room is essential!

Great idea to share lists! I've gotten a few good ideas.

Question about ordering booze: they say they require ID with delivery, does this mean they won't leave it with Bell Services, and we have to physically be there to accept the order?

2 cases of bottled water
One twelve-pack Fresca
Tortilla chips
Salsa
Pepperidge Farm cookies
Cereal
Two half-gallons of milk
Bananas
Grapes
Wine

We eat breakfast in our room every day, but eat all of our other meals in the parks. No need for tons of food, but it's nice to have a little snack food besides the breakfast food.

case of bottled water
bananas
apples
yogurt
cereal
milk
chips
pretzels
mini carrots

FYI, if you order 60+ days in advance, you get 10% off your order.

What about a standard room at boardwalk inn. Does anyone know if it has a fridge large enough for (2) 1/2 gallons of milk?
53 days left!!!

Garden Grocer verified my ID over the phone, I think I sent an email pic of my DL, and have always left the alcohol with bell services. It's never been a hassle.
