What is in your bag?

My boyfriend and I carry the minimum.
I have a small purse:
Hotel keys/ids
Sunscreen
A couple stomach pills/headache meds
Inhaler
Money
Phone
anti-chafing product
Camera

He carries his own bag:
food
More food (he's ALWAYS hungry)
Blister stopper

That's it.

I carry any combination of these things in a small cross body bag or small drawstring backpack

1. Water bottle
2. Iced tea packets
3. Epipens
4. Sunscreen
5. Rain coat
6. Extra flip flops
7. Ziplock bags for electronics on water rides
8. Lip balm
9. Wallet - room key, credit car, debit card, cash
10. Benadryl itch stick and allergy pills

I bring the following:

Autograph book and pens
Batteries (doesn't matter for what -- I will always need them)
Credit card/Key to the World card/Drivers' License
Cell phone/charger (as I use it for the Touringplans.com app)
Comb/Brush/Pony Tail Holder (for the rides)
Fan or water mister (for hot days)
First aid kit (mini)
Gum/Mints (can't get these inside park and I always am chewing so prevents extra pounds)
Hats (wear on head and if need be take them off and stowe them later)
Itinerary and Confirmation numbers for dining
Light Jacket or Sweater
Maps
Mending Kit (Mini for buttons)
Penlight or flashlight
Pins/Lanyard (for pin trading with others and CM's)
Ziploc Bags (quart/snack/gallon sized -- quart for wet undies, snack for the little stuff mentioned above, and gallon for wet clothes)
Extra clothes (undies, shirt and pants)
Rain ponchos
Quarters/Pennies for games and pressed penny machines
Snacks (pretzels, granola bars, nuts and crackers -- for those times we want to snack on the go)
Empty water bottles/glasses for water fountains and crytal light packets (for hydration)
Camera/video camera
Miniture tubes of sunscreen for face, arms and legs (especially mine)

This I carry in my bag that hangs on the back of my electric scooter. So it's like I never carry anything. My hubby has a mini pouch that he carries around his waist and in it he only has $$ and Key to the World card.

So that's what we bring.

-Car keys (Leaving house keys w/ my mother back home), drivers license and cell phone all in small ziploc bag so they don't get wet.

-Frozen waters for the 4 of us. 1/2 frozen water and then will fill the rest with water.

-Snacks for the kids like: Gold fish, granola bars, pretzels, etc.

- Sunscreen

- Extra pair of clothing for kids and extra shoes

- Folder w/ autograph matte for characters to sign (of course sharpies too!)

- Extra plastic bag

- Camera

I bring a backpack ...

Ponchos - cheapos from Walmart
Sun Block
Tylenol
Tums
change of clothes for the kids - always a "just in case" item.
car keys
camera

I like using a small messenger bag with:

Small wallet with ID, cash, room key, insurance card.
Sunglasses.
Cell phone.
Refillable water bottle (use ice water from CS restaurants to refill).
Moleskin, cut up in small pieces.
Kleenex "Spash and Go" wet wipes (very refreshing, less sticky than Wet Ones)
Lip balm.
Small tube sunscreen.
A few ziploc bags.
Large-brim visor w/velcro closure; loop around bag strap when not using.
Mini mister fan (get the smallest size).
Bandana (can wet with ice water and tie around neck to cool off).
Anti-chaffing balm (Monistat has a good one).
Extra pair of socks.
Small "emergency" poncho.
Lightweight sweater or denim shirt for air-conditioned restaurants, etc.
Penlight or tiny flashlight.

I think that's it! Sonds like a lot, but many of the items are really small, and I can fit everything into a small messenger bag.

I used to carry around everything but the kitchen sink but the older I get, the less I find I really need.

Wallet
Car keys
Cell phone
Sunscreen
Camera
Ziplock bag with a few 'just in case' items like Advil and bandaids.

That's pretty much it. I'm going with my best friend and we always share a backpack so there'll actually be two wallets and cell phones. But still,it's not much and we just pass the backpack back and forth as we get tired of carrying it.

Since we don't use a stroller anymore it's a bit more difficult. Now mind you all of these somehow fit into my camera bag....

Camera/flash/zoom lens
Tiny wallet (money, tickets, insurance cards, child ID, etc...)
Sunglasses
Blistex
Inhaler
Epi-pen (with case)
Benadryl
Phone
keys

Makes for a very heavy bag!

I carry a small backpack with the following items:

Ponchos
Small wallet containing ID's and credit cards.
I utilize the small pockets on the outside of the backpack for cash and Park tickets.
I keep Cell phone and small camera in small cases attached to the front of the backpack straps for easy access.
Couple bottles of water.
My iPad.

- Prayer book
- Drugs (the legal kind)
- Wet wipes
- Mickey bottle holders
- Umbrella
- Ponchos
- Pen
- Autograph books (DS5 and DD9)
- Stuff the kids make me carry

Autograph book and sharpies
Extra Batteries for camera
Cell phone
Fan water mister
Hats
Maps
glow sticks for dark rides for DS
DS's Trading Pins and Lanyard
Ziploc Bags for cell and camera for water rides (and cash, room key, + debit)
ponchos
Snacks for me and some allergy safe ones for DS
Cameras
sunscreen
coke
frozen water bottles and juice
allergy list for DS and dining ressies numbers if any
small crayons and book etc for DS to do while waiting in line
stroller to hold everything and my son

I tend to go bagless. We only carried a bag one day this past time and I hated it and will never do it again. I carry the bare minimum in my pockets and hubby's pockets. Generally:

Key to the World Card/Hotel key card/charge card
Driver's license
Photopass card
cell phone
camera (clipped onto my belt loop)
About $20 cash (we always charge everything to our room)

And that's it. I am very, very bare minimum.

I carry chap stick, sun block, small camera, water bottle, wallet, comb, and maybe short and t-shirt if we are going on a water ride. :thumbsup2

I really don't like carrying a bunch of stuff and this coming trip I am leaving my phone in the room!

In addition to the other great suggestions, one thing I wish I'd had in my bag on one trip with a needle and thread! I was at Typhoon Lagoon, and plastic fastener on the back of my swimsuit broke! (Luckily, it was just an "extra" strap across the back of my suit, not the main strap holding up my suit!) Luckily, I did have a safety pin, but what I wouldn't have given for a needle and thread!

(Edited to add: I did have to buy a small sewing kit at the gift shop at POR to fix my swim suit later in the day, and it cost about $8 for what amounted to one needle and thread! So that's one thing I always bring on trips now.)

For the person who brings an iPad, do you find you use it? My husband wants to bring his for the touring plans, but I want to go old school and actually print them out (gasp!). "but what about the ride wait times on the magic guide app?" he asks? :confused3

Personally, I think he'll get withdrawal if he doesn't bring it! But it might get stolen! Or break! Or something! Any suggestions?

I like the Vera mini hipster or bags of that size..just enough to fit what I need. Glasses, key cards, some cash, camera, phone, and hand sanitizer.

My DH carries a rather sturdy North Face backpack that we've lugged across the country. It has lots of pockets and it's waterproof. Inside, he's responsible for:
-Rain jackets
-Spare undies {you just never know}
-His medical kit {he's CPR certified}
-Water bottles
-Homemade granola
-KTW cards
-Asprin, Benadryl, hair ties, and sunscreen

I carry a cross body camera bag that holds our Nikon, all the lenses, and our cell phones. This bag is waterproof, too.

In my 31 organizing shoulder crossbody bag I typically carry 2 ponchos, id wallet thing (made by vera bradley, it's a godsend) bentyl (darn IBS), advil, some kind of candy if my sugar would drop, camera, iphone4, chapstick with spf, compact and bobby pins..

DBF carries a nike drawstring bag, which we put frozen water, lanyard w/pins, his wallet, reservation numbers, ponchos, sunscreen, etc :)

We took our iPad and forgot and left it in the truck. Got back to truck later that day to find the iPad gone! We don't know how someone got in the truck(as it was still locked) and no sign of the break in . Whatever you do,don't leave it in the car! We we're very upset!

I use a crossbody bag. All items that are not waterproof are packed into ziploc bags first.

Flip flops in a grocery bag (to wear on the water rides, have a water proof bag for tennis shoes)
Blistex
extra pair of socks
Wallet – with drivers license, insurance card, KTTW card, 30 cash
Glasses cases w/sunglasses (and eyeglass repair kit, since I wear glasses)
Hand sanitizer/Hand sanitizer wipes
Makeup wipes
Washcloth (from home, not hotel)
Bobble/Drink packs for water
All travel-size: tissue, hand lotion, dental floss, deodarant, sunscreen
Camera/Cell phone
Baseball cap
Poncho(s) (for rain and/or water rides)
Umbrella
Blister bandaids/reg bandaids
Moleskin
Advil
gum
